Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya (Unusa) mendatangkan pakar Medical Obstertic and Ginecology, baik dari praktisi maupun akademisi. Kegiatan yang diadakan oleh Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa (BEM) Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya berlangsung Sabtu (12/11) di Graha Bir Ali Asrama Haji Sukolilo Surabaya. Sekitar 300 peserta turut serta dalam kegiatan tahunan FK Unusa tersebut.

Beberapa pakar yang hadir antara lain, Dewan Ahli Lembaga Kesehatan Pengurus Besar Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU), Dr. dr. Imam Rasjidi, SpOG (K) Onk, dan Kepala Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Jawa Timur, Dr. dr. Kohar Hari Santoso.

Imam Rasjidi menuturkan, angka kematian ibu di Indonesia semakin tinggi. Target MDGs, angka kematian ibu (AKI) tahun 2015, 102 per 100.000 kelahiran hidup. Kondisi AKI di Indonesia sempat mengalami penurunan pada 2007. Data AKI tersebut membuat Indonesia mulai optimis bahwa target MDGs untuk AKI akan tercapai. Namun kondisi saat ini, bukan mencapai target, AKI malah semakin mengkhawatirkan dan mengalami kenaikan yang signifikan menjadi 359 per 100.000 kelahiran hidup (SDKI 2012). Sedangkan Angka Kematian Bayi (AKB) tahun 2015: 23 per 1000 kelahiran hidup.

“Angka Kematian Bayi (AKB) di Indonesia walaupun masih jauh dari angkat target MDGs tahun 2015 sebesar 23 per 1000 kelahiran hidup (kh) tetapi tercatat mengalami penurunan. Dari sebesar 35 per 1000 kelahiran hidup (SDKI 2002) menjadi sebesar 34 per 1000 kelahiran hidup (SDKI 2007), dan terakhir menjadi 32 per 1000 kelahiran hidup (SDKI 2012). Namun angka kematin ibu bayi di Indonesia masih tetap tergolong tinggi jika dibandingkan dengan negara-negara ASEAN seperti Singapura (3 per 1000 kh), Brunei Darussalam (8 per 1000 kh), Malaysia (10 per 1000 kh), Vietnam (18 per 1000 kh), dan Thailand (20 per 1000 kh),” ungkap pria yang menyampaikan materi Mengenal Kesehatan Reproduksi dan Panduan Kehamilan dalam Membentuk Generasi Islami yang Unggul.

Pria yang pernah menjabat sebagai Direktur Program TB Cepat USAID ini menambahkan, beberapa faktor yang menjadikan tingginya angka kematian ibu disebabkan juga oleh faktor sosial, ekonomi, dan budaya.

Hal sama disampaikan Kepala Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Jawa Timur, Dr. dr. Kohar Hari Santoso. Dijelaskan, bahwa Pemerintah Provinsi telah meminimalkan kematian ibu dan bayi. Salah satunya peran Tenaga Kesehatan (Nakes) dalam upaya penurunan kematian ibu dan bayi. Berbagai kegiatan unggulan dalam penurunan AKI dan AKB 2015-2019 diantaranya, Revitalisasi UKS, Penundaan Usia Perkawinan, Konseling Pra Nikah, Jaminan Mutu ANC Terpadu, dan Revitalisasi/Reposisi Posyandu.

“Banyak faktor penyebab langsung dan tidak langsung kematin ibu dan bayi, menuntut ketertiban semua faktor dalam percepatan pemenuhan AKI dan AKB, diantaranya, Pemberdayaan Masyarakat, Dukungan Institusi Pendidikan, Kepala Wilayah, Peran Lintas Sektor, Dinas Kesehatan, Organisasi Profesi, dan Peran Swasta,” pungkasnya.
